Nutrition for the Life of your Pet

We are Mona Pradhan and Hemanta Balami, the local owners of Pet Wants Cleveland. Our roots are in a beautiful country nestled in the Himalayas, where we grew up in a culture that not only celebrates—even worships—our furry friends for their companionship and loyalty. Providing clean, nutrient-rich food to support long, healthy lives for pets is a deeply held value for us.

Our story began with our first fur baby in the U.S., Bhunte, who has a very sensitive digestive system. Even prescription foods weren’t helping, and trying to understand the ingredients in commercial pet foods felt like decoding a science textbook. In our search for better options, we began cooking food for him—and we quickly saw positive changes. Then we discovered Pet Wants. As we gradually transitioned Bhunte to Pet Wants’ food, his health improved significantly. Today, all his issues are gone. We found something even better than home-cooked meals—and saw firsthand the difference that high-quality nutrition can make.

 We’ve lived in the Chattanooga area for more than a decade and feel deeply connected to this place. We’re raising Bhunte, and now our young son, in this wonderful community. Our mission is to help more pets and pet parents discover natural, high-quality food, chews, and treats—so every pet can live a wholesome, happy, and healthy life.
